Privacy policy

Last updated: October 19, 2026

This page explains, in plain English, what information AI Platform Watch collects and what we do with it. The short version: we collect as little as we can, and we don’t sell your personal information.

If you subscribe to the newsletter

Our newsletter runs on beehiiv. When you sign up, using the form on our site or on our beehiiv page, your email address goes to beehiiv, which stores our subscriber list and sends our emails. If we add optional questions to the signup form, any answers you choose to give are stored with your subscription in beehiiv too.

Our pages also load a small beehiiv script that passes along campaign tags in a link (for example, a tag showing you came from one of our X posts), so we can see which links bring in new subscribers.

When we email the newsletter, beehiiv reports to us how many people opened it and which links were clicked. We use these numbers to see what readers find useful.

We use your email address only to send you AI Platform Watch and to reply if you write to us. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

beehiiv handles this information under its own policy: beehiiv privacy policy.

When you visit the site

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. To count visits, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare says this tool doesn’t use cookies or similar browser storage to collect its numbers, and doesn’t “fingerprint” visitors. It gives us totals such as page views, which pages are popular, the type of device (phone or computer), the country visits come from, and which sites sent visitors to us. We don’t use it to identify individual people.

As with any website, Cloudflare’s servers handle the technical details of each visit (such as your IP address) to deliver the pages and keep the site secure. Cloudflare explains how it handles this information in the Cloudflare privacy policy.

What we don’t do

Our digest and tracker link to official company pages such as blogs, help centers and pricing pages. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we don’t control what they collect.
